Halloween 2025

Come join us and get into the spirit of Halloween with some light hearted spooky décor and Halloween themed activities. Join our witches and wizards for some creepy crawly handling and encounters between 11.30am – 11.50am where you can get up close and personal with a variety of the minibeasts that live here at the mini zoo.

At 12.15pm it's time for some potions and tricks with the Wild Encounters witches and wizards!

At 1pm is a halloween themed animal show featuring the witches and wizards as they create spells with help from some animal friends and you, the audience!

At 2pm the witches and wizards are back ready to show off and talk about some of their ghastly collection of items! A great chance to see what a snake’s shed skin looks and feels like, along with a variety of skulls, skeletons and other weird animal things to look, touch and learn about!

At 2.45pm – 3.15pm sees some of our reptiles making an appearance where the witches and wizards will again be giving visitors the chance to learn and get a closer look at some of the scaly residents at Wild Encounters!

In between the extra Halloween activities you’ll have plenty of time to wander and see the other Wild Encounter animals around the site, use the play area, and enjoy a hot chocolate or pumpkin spiced latte (the usual coffees, teas and foods also available) in the cafe.

From 11am-3.30pm one of witches will be out and about providing creepy temporary tattoos for kids (1st tattoo included in entry price, additional tattoos at small additional fee)

Just like last year we’ll have a few decorations up around the site for visitors to enjoy and get further into the spirit. Don’t worry though, we’re aiming for light hearted and full family fun so there won’t be anything majorly terrifying or extreme!
